JOBBS
Fall 2024
JOBBS, a new resource for the community, aims to help individuals with disabilities thrive in the workplace. JOBBS needed a brochure to help explain their mission. I was given the content, logo, fonts, and color palette for this project. My role was to layout and organize the information. It needed to clearly state the two parts of their services, businesses and schools, along with their values. I created this brochure using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. I was able to make a clear separation of the business and school services by giving them their own panel. The two panels mirror each other showing the connection between the businesses services and school services. I was able to make the values stand out by creating representing icons. This brochure uses a minimalist design and eye catching icons to convey what JOBBS represents.
Reins of Life, INC.
Fall 2023
This project was an assignment for school. The goal was to design a brochure for a nonprofit organization, with a mailer in two colors. I chose Reigns of Life and researched their cause. I organized this information within the brochure highlighting their mission, vision, and services. I chose black and blue, the main color on their website, as my colors. I used tints of this blue to create the illusion of more colors. I chose an image and made it duotone in Adobe Photoshop. For the mailer, I researched the specs for US mail and followed them while designing the brochure in Adobe InDesign. The outcome of this project is an example of how a brochure can serve dual purposes by being informative and supplying an individual with a mailer. This brochure is also designed to save printing costs while still having an eye catching design.
