Berrien Family Chiropractic

Spring 2025

I was hired by Enliven Collective Marketing to design a logo for their Berrien Family Chiropractic client. Enliven Collective Marketing instructed me to include abstracted human figures and either leaves or a tree within the logo. They provided me with a color palette that matched their client’s website. Berrien Family Chiropractic needed a professionaly developed logo to better represent their business. Berrien Family Chiropractic is a family oriented practice that uses a natural approach to provide wellness. It was important to them to have a logo that represents family and nature.

My role for this project began with sketching out different logo ideas and communicating my process with, the head of Enliven Collective Marketing, Jacob Fleming. After making my sketches, I digitalized them using Adobe Illustrator. In addition to my instructions, I decided to include a spine motif within the logo to further represent chiropractic care. Jacob Fleming provided me with feedback on some of my ideas and gave suggestions. I revised my work accordingly and sent him my final solution. This included the final logo but in the color scheme of the website. Their client communicated that they would prefer the leaves to be green. I made the adjustment, sent the file to Jacob, and the logo was finalized.

The Process

  • Brown Color Scheme with Shorter Arms
  • Elongated Arms
  • Adding Green to Leaves

Blue Butterfly Ministries

Spring 2025

This project was also given to me by Enliven Collective Marketing. The assignment was to create a logo for Blue Butterfly Ministries. Lori Fleming, Blue Butterfly Ministries founder, needed a logo to represent her site and her recently published book. The client had a color swatch, a typeface picked out, and wanted a butterfly with wings representing book pages.

My role was to design the logo while communicating directly with Lori Fleming. I started by sketching out many ways I could make the wings appear as pages. I then started to make some digitalized versions using Adobe Illustrator. I then sent some of these drafts to Lori Fleming and got feedback that helped me further understand her vision for the logo. After many reviews and a typeface change, I finalized the logo. The direct communication with the client significantly helped in my ability to provide a design that satisfied.
